Van Driver/Maintenance – Longmont

This position provides transportation in the facility van for residents to and/or from medical appointments; gathers and copies appropriate information for the medical appointment from the resident record. Driver is responsible for scheduling van maintenance/repair; keeping the van filled with gasoline; taking the van to the car wash regularly; and communicating van delivery needs as census grows to the Administrator.

When van is not in use, this person will also perform routine maintenance work related to facility including snow removal. Off-hours Maintenance-On-Call duty will be required.

Must be at least 18 years of age; have a good understanding of elderly, handicapped and have the ability to relate to them. Must be able to read, write, follow oral and written instructions and speak English. Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s license and a good driving record. Lifting is required in this position. Working knowledge of tools and materials for maintenance work.

We are looking for an experienced driver with maintenance experience preferred.
