Nutrition Manager
The Nutrition Manager purchases general dietary supplies as well as special need items; reviews menus; attends resident care conferences and completes appropriate charting; reviews residents medical records, interviews new residents, and completes a nutritional assessment; discusses specialized diets or nutritional problems with consulting dietitian; attends Medicare meetings; attends QM and Quality Assurance meetings; occasionally attends resident council meetings; interviews, hires, discharges, provides in-service training, and schedules kitchen staff; plans kitchen meetings; and attends weekly staff meeting.
