Horticulturalist

The Horticulturalist installs plants in landscape and container; waters plants including winter watering of trees and shrubs as needed; maintains flowers including fertilization and deadheading; keeps planted areas maintained; prunes shrubs and trees as needed; assesses the health of planted areas and notifies management of problems (i.e. trees that may need trimming, insect infestations, irrigation problems, etc.); assists with plant selection of existing landscapes; assists with garden related activities with the residents; cares and maintains indoor plants if needed; assists residents with plant related problems as needed; applies herbicides to planted beds and tree rings; removes snow on sidewalks and parking lots as needed; assists with Christmas decorating; and other duties as assigned.

Must have experience in horticulture or a related field.
