Dietary Supervisor
The Dietary Supervisor is responsible for the planning, direction, and management of the total dietary program including purchasing dietary supplies, maintaining inventory, following the dietary budget for raw food and supplies, ensuring Health Department codes for sanitation and food preparation are followed at all times, hiring employees and disciplining/terminating employees if necessary, scheduling dietary personnel, providing in-service instruction to all dietary personnel, attending facility meetings when required, and working with the Registered Dietitian regarding menu issues and special dietary needs of residents.
Must be interested in geriatrics, be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, be in good physical and mental health, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or 10-25 pounds frequently.
