Dietary Cook
The Dietary Cook prepares meals in accordance with the posted menu schedule; makes sure that all special diets and dietary concerns are followed; assists with proper maintenance of salad bar items as needed, washes pots and pans from meal preparation; attends meetings when required; works with the dietary aides, cooks, dietary supervisor, other staff, and residents to provided food service in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines; and performs special duties as assigned by the Dietary Supervisor.
Must be interested in geriatrics, be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language; knowledgeable of dietary techniques and procedures; be in good physical and mental health; be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds frequently.
