Certified Nursing Assistant Coordinator
The Certified Nursing Assistant Coordinator recruits and hires competent CNA's and nursing assistants in training; coordinates nursing assistants time schedules; ensures adequate CNA staffing 24 hours a day / 7 days a week; reports resident needs and concerns to a licensed nurse; supervises ordering and stocking of supplies; evaluates supply invoices to ensure that they are correct; participates in the orientation of new employees; obtains vital signs and performs non-invasive monitoring as directed by the RN or LPN; documents care and observations thoroughly and accurately; and assists with other resident care as needed. Must possess as a minimum a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to read, write, and comprehend at 12th grade level.
Must be a licensed Certified Nurse's Aid in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado Board of Nursing with at least one year of experience as a CNA. Previous experience in a leadership positions as a CNA, either as a scheduler or team leader, is preferred.
