Administrator

An Administrator plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the overall operations of the facility in keeping with the highest standards of care. Experience and at least three basic courses in Nursing Home Administration are acceptable. Must fulfill license requirements in the State of Colorado and hold a current license. Must have a working knowledge of the following areas:

a) Administrative principles and functions

b) Gerontology

c) Psycho-social sciences

d) Financial management

e) Legal aspects of care

f) Standards and regulations of practice
